Last week Major League Ultimate announced DiscStore.com as the 2015 jersey sponsor for the Philadelphia Spinners.

The new home of the MLU Shop, DiscStore.com is a global online outlet based in Omaha, Neb. that ships discs and apparel for ultimate, disc golf and other disc sports to over 190 countries worldwide. Disc Store’s name and logo will appear on the Spinners jerseys for the 2015 season.

“I am proud to have the Spinners wear Disc Store on their jerseys this season,” said Spinners general manager Jacqueline Freedman. “They are contributing to such a big component of the league by hosting the MLU Shop, and our fans will love supporting such a well-known and respected online store.”

In addition to jersey placement, the Spinners will promote Disc Store through the team website, social media channels and in-game broadcast announcements. The MLU Shop will also begin carrying exclusive Spinners apparel and gear as the 2015 season approaches.

“It’s been a joy working with the Disc Store team,” said MLU commissioner Jeff Snader in a press release last week. “They know how to run a business and serve their customers and we’re excited that our fans will get to be a part of that experience. We’ve started with a new base of items for sale now and we’ll keep adding new items for the fans every month. The fans are in for a treat this year from the MLU Shop.”
