The Philadelphia Spinners announced today a partnership with MapleZone Sports Institute in Garnet Valley, Penn. as their official indoor practice facility.
After barely missing the playoffs in 2014, the Spinners head into the 2015 season with high aspirations. As part of their renewed push this offseason, the Spinners knew a high quality, all-weather training option was of utmost importance, and MapleZone fits that bill.
“Operating in the northeast, in becomes a high priority to ensure an all-weather practice facility that shares our commitment to athletic excellence,” said Spinners General Manager and Head Coach Billy Maroon. “We are so excited to have the opportunity to practice at an elite facility this year.”
Founded in 2003, MapleZone Sports Institute has rapidly grown into a multi-sport, multi-facility complex with about 70,000 square feet of indoor space. The facility plays host to teams of all ages and competitive levels, fostering a culture of maximizing potential performance.
“One of MSI’s main goals is to help young athletes reach and even exceed their potential both on and off the field, as well as assist them in their pursuit of playing at the next level,” said Josh Krautwald, manager of the MSI Fieldhouse. “It’s great for our younger players to see the dedication and effort that the Spinners put forth each and every night they’re in the building. We love having them here and hope their time at the MSI Fieldhouse will help them have a successful season.”
